Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join a new ASC/SEMH school in Torton, Kidderminster, for students aged 5-19. We are looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to make a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

Job Responsibility:

Support children with their learning and overall wellbeing
Create a safe and caring environment where every child can thrive
Assist with care needs and implement positive behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students
Build supportive relationships with pupils to foster their independence and personal growth
Work closely with teachers to deliver a challenging and engaging curriculum

Requirements:

GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above
Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Working towards a Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools or equivalent
Experience with SEN/SEMH/ASD in an educational setting

Nice to have:

Working towards a Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools or equivalent
Experience with SEN/SEMH/ASD in an educational setting
