Job Responsibility:
Assist in planning and evaluating learning activities
Provide valuable feedback on student progress and achievement
Help monitor, assess, record, and report on pupils' progress in line with school policies
Support positive behaviour and focus, adapting your approach as needed
Promote spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development, and uphold British values within the PSHE framework
Foster students' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being through a holistic curriculum
Flexibility and willingness to assist where needed in the dynamic SEN environment
Requirements:
Experience in an SEN role, either employed or voluntary
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential for student carpooling on a rota basis)
Recognised Level 2 or higher qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable)
GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above (essential)
Knowledge of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Experience with pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
A child-first approach, recognising and responding to each student's individuality
Creativity and positivity in meeting pupils' needs
Nice to have:
Recognised Level 2 or higher qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools
