Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated SEND Specialists to work with students across all ages who have a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The role is perfect for those who value connection over curriculum and celebrate the unique progress of every individual learner. Tailored support, specialist career growth, meaningful work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to make learning accessible
  • Follow and implement EHCP goals
  • Adapt classroom activities to meet sensory and cognitive needs
  • Use alternative communication methods (PECS, Makaton, AAC)
  • Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with Class Teacher, SENCO, external therapists

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • Relevant experience (school, care, family, or volunteering with SEND)
