Job Description:

A school in Brighton is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs. This role is ideal for someone who has previous SEN experience and is passionate about helping pupils thrive in a supportive learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping students stay engaged and confident in class
  • Assisting the teacher with classroom activities
  • Support students with additional needs and work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment
  • Help students build confidence and succeed academically

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting students with SEN
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Caring, patient and reliable personality
  • Ability to work well with teachers and support staff
  • Previous SEN experience
  • Positive and supportive attitude
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience working with SEN children
  • Patient, empathetic and supportive approach
  • Prior SEN experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Nice to have:
