Job Description:

A talented SEN Teaching Assistant with experience is needed to join an outstanding team at a school. As an SEN teaching assistant, you will use a creative approach to help students in accordance with their educational needs, ensuring the school curriculum is delivered in a way that maximises children achievement and capacity to grow. Applicants should be dynamic, resilient, and adaptable in their approach to learning. This is a full-time position, and candidates must be available Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Responsibility:

Implement educational strategies appropriate for each child's learning goals
Develop a trusting relationship with each child, communicating in ways they can understand
Promote diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, ensuring all children have equal access to learning and growth
Encourage children involvement and ensure their attention during lessons
Provide opportunities for developing independence
Offer feedback to children, parents, and caregivers about development, accomplishments, and potential issues as directed by the teaching team

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Experience working with SEN pupils
A drive to inspire the next generation
Eligibility to work in the UK
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to get a new one)
