Job Description

We are working with a number of specialist SEN schools across Surrey and surrounding Areas who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their teams for the new academic year. You will be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs.

Job Responsibility

Supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & language needs, SEMH needs, and moderate learning difficulties

Requirements

  • Experience in care and support work
  • youth work and mentoring
  • sports coaching
  • childcare and nursery settings
  • mental health support
  • customer-facing roles requiring empathy and resilience
  • must have right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
  • provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
  • hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service or be willing to obtain one
