Job Description:

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring for a full-time, long-term position in a great school in Wirral, starting this September. This is a chance to truly make a difference in student's lives every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide Direct Support: Assist students with special educational needs one-on-one and in small groups
  • Encourage Progress: Help students with their academic work, social skills, and emotional well-being
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment
  • Track Student Growth: Keep detailed notes on student development and behaviour

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK classroom
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check is required. You should either have one on the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new one
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • A strong commitment to helping all students succeed
