Are you a passionate and dedicated individual seeking a rewarding career in special education? A thriving school in Trowbridge is seeking a talented SEN Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. We support children and young people aged 4 to 19 years, with diverse needs and interests, providing an inclusive learning environment where everyone can thrive.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support pupils' learning (individually and in groups)
  • assist with classroom management
  • implement individualised education programmes
  • build positive relationships with pupils and families
  • collaborate with teachers and other professionals

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • a patient, caring, and supportive approach
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • commitment to inclusive education
  • relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) desirable

Nice to have:

  • CACHE level 1 or 2
  • CACHE level 2 or 3
  • early childhood studies degree
  • health and social care experience
  • health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
  • HLTA
  • NVQ level 2
  • NVQ level 3
  • NVQ level 4
