SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant | Primary SEN School Support. Location: Redhill, Surrey. Position: Full-Time, Temporary. Salary: £90 - £95 per day. The Opportunity: Are you an empathetic and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role? We are seeking a patient and compassionate individual to join our specialist SEN school in Redhill, specifically supporting our primary-aged pupils. This is a unique opportunity to provide focused, individual support to a young child, helping them navigate their early years of education in a nurturing environment tailored to their unique needs.

Job Responsibility:

Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day, ensuring the child feels safe and supported
Implement the child's Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, focusing on early social, emotional, and academic skills
Use play-based learning and sensory resources to make the curriculum accessible and engaging
Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO, and parents to ensure a consistent approach to the child's development
Help the pupil navigate social situations and manage emotional regulation with patience and care

Requirements:

Previous experience working with primary-aged children (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
Experience or understanding of needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, or developmental delays
A proactive approach and the ability to keep young learners engaged
A passion for promoting inclusion and independence from an early age

Nice to have:
