Job Description:

"To be a teacher assistant is to be a guardian of dreams, protecting and nurturing ambitions until they come true." Randstad are looking for a supportive Teaching Assistant to work on a full time position in a beautiful School in Northolt. As a successful candidate, you will be providing support and guidance to all children alongside general classroom duties. This will be a temp to permanent position available to start ASAP!

Job Responsibility:

Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
Assisting students during class making sure they are on track
Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the children
Working with small groups and 1:1
Safeguarding children
Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress
Having a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot

Requirements:

An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
Able to make an impression on both us and our client
Previous experience in Schools preferred
2 recent professional references (this is essential)
Flexibly adhere to the needs of the children in a professional and friendly manner
Good classroom management skills

health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
building relationships

experience in managing challenging behaviour
