We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join this team. As part of the school community, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and participate fully in school life.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualised learning plans for students with SEN
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in the classroom and during activities
Assist students with personal care and mobility needs, as required
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected
Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and empathetic approach to working with students with SEN
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
Experience working with students with SEN is desirable but not essential
Willingness to undergo training and professional development related to SEN support
Nice to have:
