Job Responsibility:

Partner with specific cohorts or individual learners to provide a reliable foundation for their success
Utilise Education, Health and Care Plans to facilitate customised learning objectives and developmental milestones
Apply uniform techniques to navigate complex behaviours and encourage healthy emotional self-regulation
Enhance students' interpersonal skills and self-reliance, guiding them through social exchanges and everyday habits
Act as a crucial member of a diverse professional group, including classroom teachers, SENCOs, and visiting specialists
Offer assistance with personal care as needed, maintaining the student's dignity and wellbeing at all times

Requirements:

Practical experience assisting learners with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD) is a prerequisite
Seeking a long-term placement where you can become a cornerstone of the school environment
Capable of staying composed in demanding situations and acting as a dependable mentor for pupils
Skilled at establishing quick connections with students, colleagues, and families
Preferably possess a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or substantial relevant professional history
