Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistants required near Dorking - Make a Difference in the Lives of Young People with Autism. Do you want a job that makes a real difference? Are you passionate about supporting young people? We're looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join a team at a specialist school in Effingham, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, aged 11-16, who are autistic and need a little extra support to thrive.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support learning: Work closely with teachers to provide individualised support to students in the classroom
  • Build relationships: Establish strong connections with students, making them feel safe and happy
  • Be a positive influence: Encourage positive behaviour and concentration levels, adapting your approach to meet individual needs
  • Promote independence: Help students develop their skills and become more independent
  • Get involved: Be part of a dynamic team, supporting students in all sorts of activities, including outdoor adventures, sports, and community projects
