Job Description:

Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? Do you thrive on variety and enjoy supporting young learners across different settings? Affinity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work across a range of schools within the White Horse Federation. This is a fantastic opportunity to start immediately and work flexibly throughout the academic year with potential for long-term placement or contract progression.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting teachers with lessons and classroom activities
  • Helping pupils with their learning, both one-to-one and in small groups
  • Encouraging children’s development through play and structured tasks
  • Keeping the classroom tidy and ready for learning
  • Observing and sharing feedback on pupil progress with teaching staff

Requirements:

  • Passionate about working with children and being creative in your approach
  • Confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Experience leading a class or group in the absence of a teacher
  • Able to stay positive and focused during challenging moments
  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to inclusive education
  • Previous experience in an educational or care setting
  • Educational background or relevant qualifications
  • Enthusiasm to learn, a great sense of humour, and a growth mindset
  • Enhanced DBS
