Job Description:

A fantastic Primary School in Hackney is looking for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. The role involves working across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, supporting children with SEN such as Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and behavioral difficulties. The school offers additional training, weekly sessions, and opportunities for professional development.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting a variety of SEN including Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD and Speech & Language difficulties
providing 1:1 and group support in and out of the classroom
working alongside a range of professionals and the SENCo
attending weekly training sessions
working across any of the school phases – EYFS, KS1 or KS2

Requirements:

Degree from a reputable University
must have an outgoing, forward-thinking and creative personality
you must be willing to learn and get stuck in multiple roles
strong understanding of SEN is required
previous SEN experience in either a working or personal level would be desirable, but not essential

Nice to have:

Previous SEN experience in either a working or personal level
