As a teaching assistant you will support the children with their learning and general well being to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. You will join an engaging and helpful team and teach 1:1 mixed ability children in a small class of 6-8 pupils. This is a full time, permanent position based on approx 37.5 hours a week.
Job Responsibility:
Teach 1:1 according to weekly/daily/seasonal planning
Providing group and/or individual activities, planned by the lead teacher
Supporting the general well being of learners within the structure of the school
Monitoring and evaluate students learning
Requirements:
The ability to teach and support learners that have various complex needs
A willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team
Teaching Assistant experience
Eligibility to work in the UK
Nice to have:
Experience working in SEND settings is desirable but not essential
