Job Responsibility
Providing 1:1 and small group support to college-aged students to ensure they can fully access their lectures, practical tasks, and learning resources
Assisting tutors in adapting course materials and managing the learning environment to suit individual student needs
Supporting students during community visits, vocational sessions, and life-skills activities to foster independent living
Monitoring and recording student progress, boosting their self-esteem, and ensuring all safeguarding protocols are strictly followed
Requirements
Full eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to undergo a new check via Randstad
Previous experience working with young people or young adults with special educational needs within the UK (sensory or communication difficulties are highly desirable)
A genuine desire to empower young adults as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives
