SEN Teaching Assistant - Day-to-Day Supply. Location: Primary Schools in Reigate and surrounding areas. Make an Impact in Reigate Classrooms. We are looking for exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, specifically supporting primary settings in the Reigate area. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for Nurturing Independence in children, we want to hear from you. This is a Day-to-Day Supply role, offering you the flexibility to work within the local Reigate community while making a profound impact on the lives of students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Job Responsibility:
Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with various needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities
Implement EHCP goals and adapt to different learning styles to help pupils thrive
Guide students toward self-reliance in a Supportive, Successful, and Safe environment
Work alongside Class Teachers and SENCOs to ensure every child has a positive school day
Requirements:
Proven experience working with children with SEN is a must
The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage complex behaviours effectively
Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, or positive de-escalation techniques is highly desirable
A dedicated approach to student progress and a lifelong learner mindset
Ideally based in or near Reigate with a proactive approach to daily supply bookings
All candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references before commencing work
