SEN Teaching Assistant | Specialist Support | Local SEND Settings. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £90 - £95 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). We are seeking dedicated SEND Specialists to work with students across all ages who have a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This role is perfect for those who value connection over curriculum and celebrate the unique progress of every individual learner.

Job Responsibility:

Tailored Support: Work 1:1 or in small groups to make learning accessible, using sensory play, visual timetables, and personalised communication tools
Personalised Learning: Follow and implement EHCP goals, adapting classroom activities to meet the specific sensory and cognitive needs of the student
Communication Support: Utilise alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices
Emotional Regulation: Act as a calm consistent presence, recognising early signs of distress and using sensory breaks or de-escalation strategies
Collaborative Care: Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO, and external therapists
