We are seeking dedicated SEND Specialists to work with students across all ages who have a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Job Responsibility:
Tailored Support: Work 1:1 or in small groups to make learning accessible, using sensory play, visual timetables, and personalised communication tools
Personalised Learning: Follow and implement EHCP goals, adapting classroom activities to meet the specific sensory and cognitive needs of the student
Communication Support: Utilise alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices
Emotional Regulation: Act as a calm consistent presence, recognising early signs of distress and using sensory breaks or de-escalation strategies
Collaborative Care: Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO, and external therapists
