Job Responsibility:
Provide individual and group support to students aged 8-16 (Years 4-11) with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
Create a nurturing and supportive environment for boys with SEMH needs
Assist teachers with classroom management and behaviour support
Implement strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviours
Build rapport with young people, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding
Collaborate effectively within a team of professionals
Contribute to the development of individualised education plans
Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months' experience working with students with SEMH needs
Relevant experience preferred
a related qualification (e.g., in education or youth work) would be advantageous
