Job Description

We are an inspiring specialist independent school supporting 90 incredible pupils with Autism (ages 4-19). We don't just teach; we break down boundaries. To keep our mission moving forward, we're looking for a Teaching Assistant / Trainee SEN Teacher to join our permanent team. The Career Path: From TA to Qualified Teacher. We don't expect you to have all the answers on day one. We are looking for potential. This is a fully funded training role designed to take you from Teaching Assistant to a member of our teaching team within 1-2 years.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-quality, sensory-led educational activities
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups
  • Help children who may have struggled in mainstream education find a place where they can succeed

Requirements

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Experience with learning difficulties
  • Teaching

Nice to have

Experience volunteering or working with young people
