Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy, resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful SEN School in Ipswich. This school is a dedicated environment for pupils with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and various sensory needs. We are looking for a "champion" for these students—someone who can look past challenging moments to find the potential underneath, using patience and creativity to help every child feel successful.

Job Responsibility:

  • 1:1 Student Mentorship

  • Communication Support using Makaton, PECS, and visual schedules
  • Academic Scaffolding
  • Sensory Integration
  • EHCP Contribution

Requirements:

  • Resilient Patience

  • Consistent Reliability
  • Relevant Experience (backgrounds in care, youth work, sports coaching, or previous school experience)
  • Compliance (enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process a new one via Randstad)
