Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant role in a nurturing and forward-thinking Primary School supporting pupils with Autism in EYFS (Reception). You will work on a 1:2 basis with pre-verbal pupils, support learning through play-based interventions, collaborate with the SENCO, and provide personal care.

Job Responsibility:

Working in EYFS (Reception) with pre-verbal pupils
Supporting with bespoke timetables and personal care

Requirements:

A strong degree from a reputable University
A clear understanding of Autism and early years development
Passionate about SEN and inclusive education
Prior experience supporting children with SEN, professionally or personally
Team player with a compassionate and proactive approach
Willingness to support with personal care and follow individual routines
Comfortable working closely with a SENCO and wider support team
