Job Description:

Urgent SEN TA Vacancy. Randstad Education is urgently hiring a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant for a fantastic school in Knowsley. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start, perfect for a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact. We're looking for an empathetic individual to help empower students with diverse and complex needs, fostering an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and can reach their full potential.

Job Responsibility:

Provide essential one-on-one and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs
Work closely with the class teacher to effectively implement personalised learning plans
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment
Assist with lesson preparation and track student progress
Serve as a key mentor, guiding students in achieving their academic and personal goals

Requirements:

A minimum of six months of prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
A compassionate, patient, and energetic approach to supporting students with SEN
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
A current Enhanced DBS check is required, or the willingness to apply for one immediately
