Job Description:

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants are the unsung heroes of education, transforming challenges into triumphs. Join a highly esteemed school recognized by Ofsted as 'good,' offering top-quality education to Key Stages 1, 2, and 3 students. This independent specialized day school primarily serves pupils diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, along with ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory sensitivities, and associated behavioral challenges. Ideal candidates should be dynamic, resilient, and adaptable. This is a full-time opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to learners individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings
Create a warm, caring, and supportive environment for students, promoting a sense of safety and enjoyment in their learning journey
Contribute to delivering high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities aligned with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum
Help pupils reach their full potential across all learning domains

Requirements:

Relevant childcare experience (voluntary or paid) with references
Previous experience or voluntary work with SEN students is desirable
GCSE qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
Enhanced DBS on the update service
