Job Description:

Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity. A leading specialist school is urgently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rare temp-to-perm opportunity, offering you the chance to secure a permanent, full-time position after a successful 12-week temporary period. You'll be part of a supportive and highly-resourced school environment, working with students aged 5 to 18 who have complex special educational needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in small class settings, typically supporting 4-5 students
  • work alongside experienced teachers to create a positive learning environment
  • providing tailored support and helping students thrive both academically and personally

Requirements:

  • Commitment: A strong desire to support students with complex needs
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
  • Availability: Must be available full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Checks: An Enhanced DBS check for both children and adults is required
  • Transport: A full driving license and access to a car is highly recommended due to the school's location
