SEN Teaching Assistant

• Deliver crucial one-to-one or small-group help to students navigating various special educational requirements
• Partner closely with the teaching staff to effectively put into practice tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Contribute to sustaining a constructive, orderly, and fully inclusive classroom setting
• Assist with preparing teaching materials and monitoring student's academic advancement
• Act as a key figure in mentoring students, helping them reach their educational and personal milestones

• A minimum of six months of previous experience assisting pupils with SEN within a recognised UK school environment
• Demonstrate a patient, highly energetic, and profoundly compassionate attitude toward supporting students with specific needs
• Exhibit robust communication, collaborative team working, and organisational proficiency
• Possession of a current Enhanced DBS check, or a willingness to apply for one without delay

Prior familiarity with a broad spectrum of SEN types is highly desirable
