SEN Teaching Assistant - Sefton. Are you a reliable and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? We're looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic department in Sefton. This is a rewarding, full-time, long-term position starting in September.
Job Responsibility:
Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students in the classroom and during specialised sessions
Encouraging students to engage in their learning and contribute to their well-being
Keeping detailed records of student progress and behaviour
Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Building positive relationships with students and colleagues as a valuable member of the school team
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for a new one)
The legal right to work in the UK
A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development
