Sen Teaching Assistant

• Providing teaching assistance to the teacher as defined by weekly/daily/seasonal planning
• working 1:1 with students
• providing group and/or individual activities planned by the teacher
• working individually with learners/students to develop their work
• supporting the general well-being of learners within the school structure
• monitoring and evaluating student learning under the guidance of the teacher
• assisting teachers in using relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning
• supporting all learners in their planned structured work in all curriculum areas

• Ability to work with learners who have various learning difficulties
• willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
• ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
• flexibility in approach to education
• own means of transport
• GCSEs in Maths and English
