Job Responsibility
Provide dedicated, personalised guidance for students with additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
Facilitate targeted learning activities for small groups to improve literacy, numeracy, and social skills
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Implement behaviour management strategies in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to monitor progress and provide feedback on student development
Adapt teaching materials and sensory tools to suit individual learning styles
Requirements
Proven experience in education, care, or youth coaching settings
Strong, professional communication skills
Resilience and the ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment
A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to process one immediately
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or degree) or prior exposure to SEN frameworks are considered an asset
