Job Description:

Make a real difference in children's lives! Full-time, long-term SEN Teaching Assistant role in Wirral. You will provide vital one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse special educational needs. Working closely with teachers, you'll implement individual learning plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. You'll be a key part of creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, contributing to a thriving learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide individualised and small-group support to students with SEN
Collaborate with teachers to implement and adapt individual learning plans
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assist with lesson preparation and materials
Track student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents
Mentor and guide students, celebrating their achievements

Requirements:

At least six months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school setting
A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to inclusive education practices
Passion for supporting students to reach their full potential

Nice to have:

Experience working with children with special educational needs
Relevant qualifications in education
