Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant position at a fantastic SEN Primary School in Bexley, Kent. The school provides excellent training opportunities including weekly training sessions, autism awareness training, and salaried teacher training. The role involves supporting children with various special educational needs across different school phases.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting a variety of SEN: Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD and behavioural difficulties
1:1 and group support - In and out of the classroom
Working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO
Attending weekly training sessions
Increasing the quality of learning for both staff and pupils

Requirements:

Degree from a reputable University
Outgoing, forward-thinking and creative personality
Willing to learn and get involved in multiple roles
Strong understanding of SEN
Previous SEN experience in either working or personal level (desirable)

Nice to have:

Previous SEN experience in either working or personal level
