We are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term position starting this September.
Job Responsibility:
Individual and Group Support: Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with special educational needs within the classroom and during dedicated sessions
Fostering Well-being: Encouraging student engagement and contributing to their overall personal and academic growth
Collaboration: Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of student progress and behaviour to inform future support strategies
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting
A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for a new one)
The legal right to work in the UK
A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development
