Sen Teaching Assistant

• Provide tailored support to pupils and students within small, mixed-age classes, adapting your approach to meet their individual learning styles and communication preferences
• Assist in creating a safe, comfortable, and flexible learning environment where students can build confidence through fun and engaging activities, making the most of our excellent facilities
• Support the implementation of our curriculum both within the classroom and through various discreet opportunities for learning outside
• Help foster essential life skills, independence, teamwork, and overall physical and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive experience for each young person
• Encourage communication skills that students can build on throughout life

Experience in managing challenging behaviour

• Previous experience in a SEN environment or working with individuals with complex needs
• A driver is highly desirable
