Job Description:

A welcoming and high-achieving primary academy in Haringey are looking for a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school to support a child with complex needs on a 1 to 1 basis. The school is well-resourced to support children with SEN and you will work closely with experienced staff and have access to specialist areas to support the child.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support a pupil in year 1 with Special Educational Needs on a 1 to 1 basis
  • Support a child with autism
  • Support with behaviour as well as academic activities in the classroom

Requirements:

  • Confident SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Must be fit and able to support a child when they run out of class
  • Confident to de-escalate situations and remove the child to calm down situations
