Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant positions perfect for Psychology Graduates or Graduates with a keen interest in SEN, Mental Health, Psychology, Therapy, Counselling. Working at an Outstanding secondary school in Bexley supporting students with additional needs.

Job Responsibility:

Working 1:1 and in groups with students
Supporting students with mild SEN (autism, dyslexia, ADHD and other neurodiverse needs)
Supporting students with SEMH needs (anxiety, depression, stress)
Experience working in mainstream lessons
Experience leading a group of 6 SEN students
Liaising with parents
Working within the Learning & Inclusion team

Requirements:

Bright Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree
Strong A Level & GCSEs
Genuine interest in SEN & Mental Health
Experience working with children in some capacity beneficial
Positive, can-do attitude with a solutions based mindset
Resilient, confident and pragmatic

Nice to have:

Experience working with children in some capacity
