We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing, therapeutic specialist day school in St Ives. Our school supports students aged 11-16 with a range of needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), Autism, and communication difficulties. Job Responsibility:

Working with students with ASD and anxiety-related needs
Assisting with and tailoring activities to meet unique learning styles
Managing behaviour through a positive, person-centred approach
Preparing classroom materials to ensure lessons run smoothly

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant role
Experience or a strong interest in supporting SEN/SEMH needs
A patient, resilient, and empathetic nature
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
