Job Description:

A high-achieving and inclusive primary academy in Enfield is seeking an exceptionally experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide specialist 1:1 support to children with autism and developmental needs. This is a full-time, long-term position for someone ready to take on a rewarding role supporting young learners with complex needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting students throughout the school day, including in-class activities and transitions
  • Providing personal care and support with daily routines
  • Managing incidents safely and professionally
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Implementing consistent behaviour strategies and personalised learning support
  • Encouraging emotional regulation, social skills, and engagement in learning and development

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Experience providing personal care to children with SEND
  • Confidence in managing high-intensity situations using positive behaviour support strategies
  • Immediate availability and commitment to a full-time
