SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide tailored one-to-one and group support
• Encourage independence and life skills development
• Support creative and outdoor learning activities
• Foster confidence, self-esteem, and positive relationships
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Provide dedicated support to students with sensory and speech difficulties, helping them access the curriculum and succeed in the classroom
• Implement behaviour management strategies and positively influence students’ learning experiences

• Must be able to drive
• Passionate about working with children and young people with special needs
• A strong communicator, confident working with students, staff, parents and professionals
• Kind, patient and full of enthusiasm
• Committed to the values of inclusion, respect and community
• A team player who is also proactive and reflective
• Experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are even more important.
