Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Littlehampton). Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s life? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Littlehampton. This is a 1:1 support role, working closely with a pupil who requires additional help to thrive in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:

Providing tailored 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs
Assisting with learning activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs
Supporting emotional and behavioural development in a positive, nurturing way
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN (autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Ability to build strong relationships and encourage confidence
Reliability and commitment to the school day
All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
