We are seeking a reliable and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic department in Liverpool. This is a rewarding full-time, long-term position starting in September.
Job Responsibility:
Provide direct support to students with special educational needs during class and in one-on-one sessions
Promote student engagement and contribute to their emotional well-being
Maintain accurate records of student behaviour and progress
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
Collaborate effectively as a vital part of the team
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting
A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for a new one)
The legal right to work in the UK
A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous personal growth
