Job Description:

Passionate SEN Teaching Assistant - Liverpool. Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual eager to positively impact a student's life? We are seeking a reliable and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic department in Liverpool. This is a rewarding full-time, long-term position starting in September.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide direct support to students with special educational needs during class and in one-on-one sessions
  • Promote student engagement and contribute to their emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of student behaviour and progress
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Collaborate effectively as a vital part of the team

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for a new one)
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous personal growth
