SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions
• Assist the pupil in navigating social and emotional situations
• Help monitor and record the pupil's progress and behaviour
• Prepare resources specific to the pupil's learning needs

• Has previous experience working with primary-aged children with special educational needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication difficulties, or specific learning needs)
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both with the pupil and with school staff/parents
• Is able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Is committed to promoting the highest levels of inclusion and independence for the pupil
• Holds relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning or special educational needs (desirable)
