We’re looking for a caring, motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in St Austell. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who have complex learning needs, helping them thrive both academically and socially. Every day is different—you’ll play a vital role in creating a supportive, engaging, and inspiring environment where every child can succeed. ✨ What You’ll Be Doing Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs Bringing learning to life by supporting engaging, creative classroom activities Implementing personalised learning strategies alongside teachers and therapists Supporting students with communication, social skills, and emotional development Assisting with personal care where required, always maintaining dignity and respect Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating every achievement, big or small Working collaboratively with a passionate, multi-disciplinary team Tracking progress and contributing to pupil development reports 👤 About You Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (e.g. PMLD, ASD, ADHD) is highly desirable Naturally patient, empathetic, and nurturing A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with ease A team player who can also use their initiative when needed Adaptable, proactive, and ready to embrace new challenges Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children If you are interested in this role and would like some more information, please give Sian a call on 01872 279810 or email sian.davies@zeneducate.com

  • Collaboration: Monitor progress and provide detailed feedback to teachers, the SENCo, and external agencies like Educational Psychologists
  • Pastoral Care: Support emotional well-being and assist with personal care or mobility where required (full training provided)
