Job Description:

This role entails working with children who have a primary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues, and associated behavioral challenges. The role requires dynamic, resilient, and flexible individuals who are available full-time.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in carrying out educational strategies that are appropriate for each child's learning goals
Develop a connection of trust with every child and communicate with them in ways they can understand
Encourage diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, ensuring all children have equal access to learning and growth
Engage children's participation and ensure they are attentive during lessons
Provide opportunities for developing independence
Give feedback to children, parents, and caregivers about their development, accomplishments, and potential issues as directed by the teaching team

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Experience working with SEN pupils
A drive to inspire the next generation
Eligibility to work in the UK
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
