We are looking for exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, specifically supporting primary settings in the Reigate area. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for Nurturing Independence in children, we want to hear from you. This is a Day-to-Day Supply role, offering you the flexibility to work within the local Reigate community while making a profound impact on the lives of students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Job Responsibility
Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with various needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities
Implement EHCP goals and adapt to different learning styles to help pupils thrive
Guide students toward self-reliance in a Supportive, Successful, and Safe environment
Work alongside Class Teachers and SENCOs to ensure every child has a positive school day
Requirements
Proven experience working with children with SEN is a must
Resilience: The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage complex behaviours effectively
Knowledge: Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, or positive de-escalation techniques is highly desirable
Commitment: A dedicated approach to student progress and a 'lifelong learner' mindset
Logistics: Ideally based in or near Reigate with a proactive approach to daily supply bookings
