Randstad Education is urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in Liverpool. Job Responsibility:
Provide personalised support: Deliver one-on-one and small group support to pupils with various special educational needs
Collaborate on learning plans: Work closely with class teachers to implement individualised learning plans and educational strategies
Foster an inclusive environment: Help create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom where every student feels valued and included
Support learning activities: Assist with lesson preparation, classroom tasks, and tracking student progress to ensure learning goals are met
Be a positive role model: Act as a key mentor, guiding students in their academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements:
A minimum of six months of prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
A patient, compassionate, and energetic approach to supporting pupils with SEN
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A valid Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to obtain one immediately
A relevant educational qualification and experience with a variety of SEN needs are highly beneficial
