Job Responsibility:
Provide essential one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse special needs
Work collaboratively with teachers to bring personalised learning plans to life
Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued
Assist with lesson preparation and help track student progress
Be a key mentor and guide for students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals
Support the overall learning environment and participate in school life
Requirements:
At least six months of experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
A compassionate, patient, and energetic approach to supporting students with SEN
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A current Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to obtain one)
A relevant educational qualification is a bonus
Experience with a variety of SEN needs is a big plus
