Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a mainstream school in Crawley, West Sussex. This full-time position involves supporting students in EYFS through Year 2, including tailored 1:1 support to a student with additional needs. Responsibilities include assisting teachers, fostering inclusivity, and contributing to students' engagement and progress.

Job Responsibility:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with Special Educational Needs
assist across classrooms in EYFS, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2
collaborate closely with the class teachers and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies
help foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
provide regular feedback and updates on the student's progress to teachers and parents

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting within an infant school environment
patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
strong communication and teamwork skills
commitment to the well-being and progress of every child
