Job Description

We’re looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in specialist settings in Dorking. You’ll be working 1:1 or in small groups, helping children with additional needs access learning, build confidence, and feel supported in school.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK or a valid work visa
  • Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one

Nice to have

  • Lived experience of SEN
  • Experience as a care assistant or support worker
  • Psychology graduate
  • Experience as a youth worker, coach, or childcare practitioner
  • Experience supporting vulnerable children or adults
  • Patient
  • Resilient
