Job Description:

A large, welcoming academy are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to pupils with Special Needs from January 2026. The school has a number of roles in EYFS, KS1 & KS2 to support pupils with Special Needs. There are a range of needs across the classes, including children with Autism, non-verbal pupils, complex needs and ADHD. Some pupils will already have support plans in place, others will be joining the school and undergoing assessments.

Job Responsibility:

Support pupils with Special Needs on a 1 to 1 basis
Lead interventions for small groups and individuals
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO
Support pupils with Autism, non-verbal pupils, complex needs and ADHD

Requirements:

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Experience in speech and language
